Antivirus Information

The UW currently holds a site license for McAfee VirusScan for Windows-based machines and Virex from Network Associates for the Macintosh. They are available for download from the UW web site (http://www.washington.edu/computing/software/sitelicenses/). You will need your UWNetID and password to access the software.

It is increasingly important that end-users keep their antivirus up-to-date. Below you can find the links directly to the web server for the various versions of the anti-virus software. Please see the FAQ section of the Savtech website for further information about configuring the software for your system.
