Theoretical and empirical analysis of macroeconomic policies pursued by developing countries. Topics include the determination of exchange rates and relative prices in small economies; the examination of government spending, taxation, banking, trade, and labor market policies; and the evaluation of market-oriented economic reform programs. Prerequisite: 503; recommended: 591. |
