Course Description

  Microeconomic analysis of the sources of gender differences in earnings, labor force participation, occupational choice, education, and consumption. Economic theories of discrimination, human capital, fertility and intrahousehold resource allocation. Economics of the family in developed and developing countries. Prerequisite: ECON 300. Offered: jointly with WOMEN 447.
