Interested
in Volunteering? We are Currently Seeking New Board Members!
Events
As
part of the Board, members contribute their ideas during our event planning
and help us to deliver meaningful bi-annual lectures of economic content
in the Fall and Spring of each year.
Career
The Board is committed to providing opportunities
to connect alumni and current students with fellow economic alumni through
networking events, career awareness programs and the Department’s Mentorship
Program. Join us in planning our career events!
Membership
The Board strives to maintain steady
annual membership growth, a continuum of leadership excellence, effective
member participation, as well as provide support to all activities of
the UWEAO. The Board acts as a liaison between the UWEAO and a number
of constituents, such as the Department of Economics and the UW Alumni
Association. Members actively seek to obtain sponsorships for our various
events and activities, and are responsible for the UWEAO's data management
and for planning leadership succession.
Communications
The Board is responsible for providing
information about UWEAO sponsored events and activities to the Department
of Economics, College of Arts & Sciences, UWAA, and the public.
